Day 1: Cape Town

Arrive at Cape Town International Airport  where you will be met by your tourist guide. City tour of Cape Town, known as “the Mother City” as it is the oldest European city in the country. Visit The Castle, built by the Dutch.  Visit Table Mountain take the cable car to the top (weather permitting) for superb views over the city and Table Bay.Drive to the Bo-Kaap area, previously known as the Malay Quarter, with its charming colorful houses. Continue to Green Point before driving along the sea front to the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, a development of shops, restaurants and hotels around the old harbor and named after Queen Victoria and her son, Alfred.

Day 2: Cape Peninsula

Full day excursion to Cape Point. a short boat ride to see Cape Fur Seals.  Drive along the scenically stunning Chapman’s Peak Drive which follows the coast, then on to Cape Point.  Visit the Cape of Good Hope, the most south-westerly point on the continent of Africa.  Take the funicular to the old lighthouse from where there are views right to the end of the peninsula and the new lighthouse, said to be the most powerful in the world.   Return along the False Bay coast, via Simonstown to visit a penguin colony

Day 3 Cape Town to Stellenbosch

Drive to the “the Winelands” branded due to the large number of wine farms here.  Visit Stellenbosch, the second oldest city in the country, and Franschhoek, established after the arrival of the French Huguenots.  Opportunity for wine tasting .

Day 4: Stellenbosch to Ousthoorn

The road today takes you toward Outshooorn in  the Klein Karoo, the “ostrich feather capital of the world”!  Visit the famous Cango Caves with their impressive stalactite, stalagmite and flowstone formations.   Continue to your overnight accommodation.  Remainder of day at leisure. Lunch & dinner own account.

Day 5: Outshoorn to Knysna

At Cango Wild life Ranch see some of the animals which used to roam freely in this area.  We drive to an ostrich farm where you will hear all about these extraordinary flightless birds. Drive to the town of Knysna, developed around the lagoon and renowned for its scenic beauty.  There is time to explore the area before the evening cruise on the lagoon..  .

Day 6: Knysna to Tsitsikamma

Stop at Bloukrans Bridge Bungy which  is the world’s highest commercial bridge bungy at 216 metres (709 ft) above the Bloukrans River.

Starts at Sandy Bay and takes one along a winding board walk through indigenous forest to the mouth of the Storm River, the famous suspension bridge, of the Stormsriver Mouth Cave

We visit Storms River Village…a little village set in the heart of the forests and in the foothills of the majestic Tsitsikamma mountain range.

Day 7: Knysna to Port Elizabeth

Depart for Port Elizabeth via Jeffreysbay the surfers paradise
